I just received my red light eye mask yesterday and used it for the first time last night. I just want to say how impressed I am. I have been dealing with dry eye disease, MGD, and blepharitis. I have done IPL treatments, heated microwave eye mask, eyedrops, eye bright tea, omega supplement, etc. It’s been a long battle with my eyes. I had to stop wearing contacts over a year ago. After I used the eye mask last night, I massaged my eyelids and the oil literally burst out my eye in liquid form, where been blocked for over a year even after IPL. I am very grateful for this product. I am very excited to use it more and see the long term benefits of its use.

This unit is easy to use, very well built, and works exactly as described. The reason why I don’t give it more of a rating is because I haven’t had it long enough to know how much of an improvement I will get to my vision. I have only been using it for a little over 3 weeks. I have dry macular degeneration that is not severe yet. I can still drive and read but my vision has distortion due to geographic atrophy and the graying out of the center of the vision in my right eye. While my vision has not become worse since I started treatments, it has also not become better in these respects. There is, however, one area where my vision has improved. When I would come in from a bright outdoors it was taking longer and longer for my vision to adjust to the darker indoors. After the relatively short time of treatments, I find my vision recovers more quickly like it used to from brightness to darkness. I hope to see more improvement soon with the other aspects of my vision and will update this review if I do. But so far I am pleased and this is about what I expected.
The WaveFront has been my long awaited home remedy for dry eyes! Previously, I needed constant eye drops, for just marginal relief. Now, I barely use drops. Also, the company has been excellent at responding to my questions. The WaveFront is very easy to use. I look forward to my routine and really enjoy the relaxing state I experience while using the product. I can actually feel the moisture in my eyes return as I use the WaveFront device. Well done!
