I am 35 & have Stargardts. I was pleased to discover the Wavefront & the company behind it. I’ve been using it for a couple of months and am very pleased with its build quality and ease of use. (I do 16 min every other day as suggested). I do believe it is beneficial to my sight and overall eye health and would recommend it as a therapy for anyone looking to keep their sight healthy. The founder himself answered any questions I had and the overall experience has been top notch.
I have extremely dry eyes from a health issue. They were burning all the time, even with prescription eye drops. Since I’ve been using the kyper spectral glasses, I hardly need eye drops at all. But use needs to stay steady. If I miss a session, I will feel it in a day or so.
I use the WaveFront as directed for MGD, with 21 minute sessions every other day. The device has helped reduce the starbursts that I would otherwise experience in the daytime (e.g., glare from cars’ windshields). I like that the device, unlike others on the market, does not apply any mechanical pressure to the eyes, giving it a unique safety profile for the cornea. MGD is tough to tackle because it is multifactorial; the right diet and the right supplements get someone part of the way there, but WaveFront has been the missing part of the regimen on the market. Thanks to Kyper for putting this out! (Also really appreciate that it is made in North America, which is a big green light for safety for me).
This is a great product for dry eye. The key is sticking to the every other day 21 minute routine for me. My eyes feel so much better since using the wavefront! They felt calmed from the first use, and improve with every other day use. Thank you for a great product with much research to support it.
I’m very grateful that I accidentally came across Kyper Spectral when I was going back and forth to surgeons about removing stubborn chalazia. Upon using this the swelling went down almost immediately, then with constant use for around 6/8 weeks the chalazia started to shrink. My eyes don’t feel dry and scratchy anymore. I would highly recommend.
